How to Uninstall the iTunes Mobile Device Support Driver

iTunes is a popular application packaged with Apple's line of electronics. It is useful for syncing portable media-playing devices as well as Apple's iPhone. If you have iTunes installed on your computer, but wish to remove the Mobile Device Support Driver, you can do so with a relatively easy uninstallation process. Properly initiate the uninstall and remove the unwanted driver in only a few short minutes.

Click the "Start" menu on the bottom left side of your computer desktop.

Select the "Control Panel" option from the menu.

Select the "Add/Remove Hardware" option from the "Control Panel."

Locate and select the "Apple Mobile Device Support" option from the list.

Click the "Uninstall" option from the top menu of the "Control Panel." Verify the uninstall, then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the removal of the driver.
