How to Download URLs

by Greyson Ferguson

All websites have a URL. This is the actual web address you type in order to reach the Web page. If you are looking to save the entire page onto your computer, without being forced to log onto your Internet browser, it is possible to download the entire URL to your computer system. Once this is done, you may view the Internet content at any time, without an Internet connection.

Navigate to the Internet page you wish to download.

Click the "File" tab in the upper left corner of the browser, then click "Save Page As." This loads an Internet save window.

Select a location to save the entire URL to, then click the format options pull-down menu at the bottom of the screen. Choose "Complete Website."

Click "OK" and the entire URL page downloads to your computer.
