How to Uninstall Hidden Programsby Sabrina Ashley
Many hidden programs exist on a computer. In most cases, these programs are viruses, spyware, keyloggers and other malicious content that can wreak havoc on your system or compromise personal data. Programs such as this can also damage the computer or slow down its performance. The best way to find and remove potentially damaging hidden programs is by using antivirus software.
Download antivirus software. You can use free software or trial version of fee-based antivirus software. A few to consider are PC-Cillan, McAfee or TrendMicro (see Resources).
Install the antivirus software by following the prompts for setup.
Open the program and turn on the scan feature. The software produces a list of all the malware found.
Follow the on-screen prompts to delete or quarantine the malware.
Confirm removal of the malware.
Close the software program.
