How to Fix the Driver IRQL Is Not Less or Equal Error

by TS Jordan

A driver file on your operating system is a file that controls a particular piece of hardware on the machine. Each system device is given an IRQ number, allowing the processor to know which device issued a particular order. A not less or equal IRQ error indicates a problem with the driver of your hardware, so reinstall the file to correct the issue.

Insert the driver disc into the system.

Click "Start," type "Device Manager" in the Search box, and press "Enter."

Click on the hardware that triggered the error and select "Driver." Click "Update."

Select the drive containing the driver disc to reinstall the file, correcting the corrupted driver.
