This version of Windows Explorer features an AutoPlay window that includes options to make downloading files more straightforward. The computer will store image files in any format from a variety of sources including a flash drive, the Internet, a memory card and digital camera. However, the system can't download images from a disc since there is no optical drive included.
Download pictures from the Web. Click on the download link for the picture online and follow the download prompts to save the file to the Asus 900 Eee. Or, right-click on the image file. Select "Save image as" in the drop-down menu. In the browser window select a save location. Enter a file name in the corresponding field. Select the file type to save the image as (e.g., jpg or gif) in the corresponding field.
