How to Remove Google Searchby Lucosi Fuller
Google Search is a toolbar that can work on the desktop or on the internet to help you find items on your computer or information on the Web. It's a luxury, though, not a necessity, and if you find that you don't need the program anymore, you can delete it about as much time as it took you to download and install it. Your computer system won't suffer a bit without the program, so it's a safe uninstallation that can be done from the "Add/Remove Programs" list.
Close all open windows, especially ones that may be utilizing Google Search.
Click on the "Start" icon and then click on "Control Panel."
Click on "Programs" or "Programs and Features" and then click on "Add/Remove Programs."
Click on "Google Search" once the program list appears on the screen. Once Google Search is highlighted, click on "Uninstall" or "Change/Remove." An installation wizard will appear to guide you through the uninstallation process.
Follow the instructions provided by the installation wizard to remove Google Search from your computer, or the installation wizard will finish the removal process automatically once you initiate it.
