How to Change the Text Size or Color in Google

Google Chrome is a Web browser that includes settings you can adjust to suit your viewing experience. For example, you can access the Options menu to change the font size for better readability. If you wish to change the classic white background for the iGoogle homepage, you can select a theme from an iGoogle gallery. These colorful background colors include scenes and illustrations that add style to the Web page layout.

Change the Font Size

Open the Google Chrome Web browser.

Click the "Wrench" icon on the browser toolbar. A list of options appears.

Click the "Options" link from the list. A dialog window opens with a left pane and a right pane.

Click the "Under the Hood" link on the left pane.

Click the size options in the "Font Size" text box in the "Web Content" section. The sizes range from very small to very large.

Type "Google" in the URL address bar to view the font size.

Change the Background Color for iGoogle

Type "www.google.com/support" in the URL address box. The Google Help Web page appears.

Click the link for "Check Out iGoogle Themes."

Select the sample background images to view.

Click the "Explore Themes" link. A gallery of colorful background images appears.

Click the "Add It Now" button for the preferred theme. The iGoogle Web page shows the new background.
