How to Make a Home Depot Payment Online

by Kathryn Hatter

Home Depot shoppers enjoy a variety of conveniences as they browse home and garden tools and supplies. Shoppers with a Home Depot credit card have the convenience of using a store credit card to make their purchases. These buyers maintain their credit accounts online at the Home Depot website. You have access to your account at any time of the day or night, and payments you make before 5 p.m. (EST) will credit to your account the same day.

Log in to your Home Depot online account by entering your username and password. Select the "View My Account" link, and then "Statement" to view your current and previous statements.

Select "Make a Payment" to make an online payment. If you have not previously made an online payment, choose "Enroll."

Navigate through the sign-up process by entering your personal information into the blanks. Enter your bank account number and the 9-digit bank routing number into the appropriate blank fields (find these numbers on the bottom of a check from your bank). This will enable Home Depot to withdraw your specified payment amount directly from your bank account. Finish the process by submitting the information.

Select "Make a Payment" again and this time choose "Pay Online" and then "Pay Now." Fill in the amount of the payment you wish to make and the current date. Click the button to submit your payment directive and your payment will post to your Home Depot credit card.
