Google Chrome, like most Web browsers, allows its users to block access to certain websites. Blocking specific webpages or websites can be helpful if you are trying to avoid spam. Similarly, blocking webpages may be the right move if you have minors in your household.

1

Open Google Chrome. Click on the wrench icon located to the far right and choose "Options" from the drop-down menu.

2

Select "Under the Hood," and click on the "Change proxy settings" button. You should be routed to the "Internet Properties" dialogue box.

3

Open the "Privacy" tab, choose "Sites," type the address of the page you are trying to block in the "Address of website" field, click "Block" and choose "OK." You have successfully blocked a page in Google Chrome.
