Some models of the Lenovo T61 laptop are shipped with a built-in Bluetooth adapter, which you can use to make a wireless connection from the laptop to cell phones, keyboards, mice, speakers, and other Bluetooth devices. Connecting a Bluetooth device is called "pairing," and it's controlled through the Windows "Add a device" control panel. Here's how to get your Bluetooth devices set up on your T61.

Place the Bluetooth device you want to set up on your T61 into "discovery" mode. This process is different depending on the device, but should be described in detail in the device's user manual.

Open "Control Panel" in the "Start" menu, and click the "Add a device" link in the "Hardware" section. Windows then searches for Bluetooth and other network devices to which it can connect.

Select your Bluetooth device from the list and click "Next."

Enter the password displayed on your computer into the Bluetooth device. Alternately, you may be asked to input the device's password into your computer. Smart phones and other similar devices generally use the first option; headsets, speakers and other less complicated devices generally use the second. After you've entered the password into the appropriate device, Windows establishes a connection with the device.
