The HP Pavilion laptop series includes a large number of features, such as integrated Bluetooth wireless networking, designed to provide users with convenience and high functionality. One common configuration is to use a mouse with the computer rather than the built-in touch pad. You can connect a mouse to your HP Pavilion using the integrated Bluetooth wireless feature included with the laptop.

Step 1

Click the "Start" button and click "Control Panel" in the menu that appears. Click "View Devices and Printers" link located under the "Hardware and Sound" label.

Step 2

Power up the [Bluetooth](https://itstillworks.com/13579495/what-is-bluetooth) mouse and press the "Connect" button on the mouse. Click the "Add a Device" link at the top of the "Devices and Printers" window. Click on the "Bluetooth Mouse" icon in the window and click the "Next" button.

Click the "Close" button and then test to confirm that you can move the on screen cursor with the Bluetooth mouse.
