How to Reset a Motorola H700

Reset your Motorola H700 Bluetooth headset to pair it to your mobile phone.

The Motorola H700 is a Bluetooth headset that enables hands-free chatting on your Bluetooth-compatible phone, and connects to your mobile phone via pairing. According to the Motorola manual, you may need to restart the device if your Bluetooth headset is not allowing you to talk using the headset. By restarting the headset you are resetting the headset and phone's connection, which should correct pairing issues.

Close the headset's boom (microphone) and wait for the indicator light to turn off. Open the headset's boom the and wait for the indicator light to display a purple light. According to Motorola, a purple light signifies the headset is in pairing mode.

Turn on your phone's Bluetooth search (refer to your mobile phone's user manual).

Select "Hands free" in the phone's Bluetooth menu, and select "Motorola H700" in the discovered devices menu.

Enter "0000" as the device's passcode, and press the "OK" or "Enter" key on your mobile phone to pair the devices.
