How to Install a CD Burner in Window Media Player
By TS Jordan
Windows Media Player is keyed in to the devices installed in your operating system, so installing a device to your OS will naturally install the same device to your copy of Windows Media Player. This is possible by using the Device Manager in your operating system to install a new drive to your system, a process that can be completed in minutes.
Click "Start." Type "Device Manager" in the "Search" box and press "Enter."
Click "CD/DVD" and select the CD burner you wish to install to Windows Media Player.
Click "Driver," click "Update," and click the location of your burner driver file.
Open "Start," "Programs," and "Windows Media Player."
Open "Tools" and click "Options." Click "Devices" and you will see your burner listed there.
