How to Connect to a Jabra BT135
By William Pullman
The Jabra BT135 Bluetooth headset connects wirelessly to your Bluetooth-enabled cell phone for hands free operation. Before you can use the headset with your phone, you must create a connection between the two devices. Once you've paired the Jabra BT135 with your phone, you can talk on the phone, place phone calls via voice dialing, answer incoming calls and end existing calls, all without holding the handset.
Charge the Jabra BT135 for at least 2 hours prior to connecting it to your phone. To charge the headset, plug the small end of the charger into the charging jack on the top of the headset and connect the opposite end to a power outlet. The indicator light will be illuminated while charging and turn off when the battery is fully charged.
If the headset is on, turn it off by pressing and holding the "Answer/End" button on the front of the headset until the indicator light turns off.
Press and hold the "Answer/End" button until the indicator lights up solid blue. If the indicator light blinks the headset is in standby and not ready to pair with the phone.
Set up your phone so that it searches for Bluetooth devices. Searching for Bluetooth devices is different for each phone, but usually requires opening the "Settings" and "Bluetooth" menus of the phone and selecting "Search for Available Devices," or similar. A list of available devices will appear on screen when the search is complete.
Select "Jabra BT135" from the list and enter "0000" for the passkey when prompted.
