How to Locate a Bluetooth Passkey on an iPhone

Bluetooth is a technology that allows compatible devices to exchange data over short distances. The iPhone features Bluetooth, and you can connect your iPhone to a variety of Bluetooth devices. When connecting your iPhone to certain Bluetooth devices, such as a computer or another smart phone, your iPhone will generate a random Bluetooth passkey. You are required to enter this passkey on the other Bluetooth device to complete the initial pairing or connection process.
Tap the "Settings" icon on your iPhone.
Select the "General" option.
Tap the "Bluetooth" button and move the switch to the "ON" position.
Select the option to add a Bluetooth device from your computer or smart phone.
Select your iPhone on the computer or smart phone from the list of available Bluetooth devices.
Look at your iPhone's screen. The iPhone will automatically generate a random Bluetooth passkey. This passkey is displayed in a box on your iPhone's screen.
Tips
To complete the pairing process, enter the passkey on your computer or smart phone. The passkey is displayed on your iPhone's screen.
