What Is Verizon Mobile to Mobile?

Verizon Wireless offers Mobile to Mobile services in which Verizon customers can make unlimited calls to other Verizon Wireless customers. Verizon also provides Mobile to Mobile services for messaging; Verizon customers can send and receive an unlimited number of messages from other Verizon customers. Both mobile-to-mobile calling and messaging are included with certain calling and messaging plans.

Verizon is a company with three main divisions: wireless, residential and business. Verizon Wireless offers mobile phone services and service for other devices such as iPads and Netbooks. Verizon Residential allows customers to receive television, home phone and Internet services. Verizon Business provides for the technological needs of businesses.
Verizon Wireless
Verizon Wireless offers wireless plans for cell phones and other devices. Plan types include individual plans, family plans, prepaid plans and mobile broadband plans. All plans include certain features such as unlimited calling to other Verizon Wireless customers, no roaming and no long distance charges within the United States and unlimited minutes during nights and weekends. Among other plans available are International Services, Nationwide Plus Mexico, Nationwide Plus Canada and Nationwide Messaging Only.
Mobile to Mobile Calling
Mobile to Mobile allows Verizon customers to talk to other Verizon customers for free. Mobile to Mobile minutes are unlimited, and Verizon includes this feature with any calling plan over a certain price per month. You must be within the nationwide coverage area in order to use this feature, however. Plans and pricing information depend upon your location. You can view the coverage area on Verizon's website.
Mobile to Mobile Messaging
The Mobile to Mobile messaging service, which allows you to send messages to other Verizon customers free of charge, is include with messaging plans over a certain price per month. The number of Mobile to Mobile messages you can send is unlimited. Prices and plans depend upon your location.
