How to Turn on Wireless on a Dell Latitude Laptop
By Melissa Rae
Dell Latitude laptops were designed with traveling business owners in mind. These durable laptops are equipped with a strong antenna to catch even the weakest Wi-Fi signals in offices, hotels and airports, but the feature is useless if you don't know how to turn it on. Dell provides Latitude users with three different ways to turn on the wireless antenna. You can use the wireless switch, keyboard or utility to enable and disable the Wi-Fi antenna.
Step 1
Push the wireless switch on the left side of the laptop to enable wireless.
Step 2
Press and hold the "Fn" key and press the "F2" key to enable wireless.
Step 3
In Windows XP, right-click the icon that resembles narrow vertical bars in the taskbar, and click "Enable Radio" to enable wireless.
