How to Use Wi-Fi with Your Cellphone

Now that wireless Internet, Wi-Fi, is available in coffee shops and stores across the globe, many cellphones have a Wi-Fi antenna built into them. This allows users to surf the Internet without being charged the high rates from their cellphone provider. To see if your cellphone has a Wi-Fi antenna, read your owner's manual.

Turn on your cellphone.

Open the "Settings" menu.

Select the Wi-Fi option.

Select a Wi-Fi connection. If it is password protected, type in the password and select "Connect." Open your mobile Internet browser and visit a site that you want.
