How to Use Verizon Wireless for Faxing

If you have Verizon wireless Internet service in your home and a computer running the Windows operating system, you can send a fax from your desktop or laptop computer. The Windows operating system natively supports the sending of faxes, which can be created and then sent out into the world over your Verizon wireless Internet connection.

Step 1

Click "Start."

Step 2

Open "All Programs."

Step 3

Click "Windows Fax and Scan."

Step 4

Click "New Fax" on the left side of the screen. Fill out the information for your fax, including recipient name, fax number and your message.

Click "Send." Windows will use your Verizon wireless Internet connection to send the fax over the Web to your specified recipient.
