How to Use an iPhone to Post a Picture on Someone's Facebook
By David Weedmark
Depending on which Facebook apps you use, there are two ways to post a picture directly onto a friend's profile or timeline page. If you use the Facebook Camera app, the only way to to put a picture on your friends' timelines is to tag them in the picture. This puts it on their timelines and yours at the same time. You can tag friends in the Facebook app too, but this app also lets you post photos on a friend's timeline without tagging and without it appearing on your own timeline.
Posting Directly on Someone's Timeline
Step 1
Download the Facebook app from the App Store on your iPhone. Launch the app and log in as prompted or tap the "Connect" button if you have used other Facebook apps in the past.
Step 2
Navigate to a friend's timeline by tapping a name in the news feed. Alternatively, tap the "Menu" button in the upper left corner of the screen and type your friend's name in the "Search" field. Tapping a name on this screen takes you to your friend's timeline.
Step 3
Tap the "Share Photo" button on your friend's timeline. You are prompted to allow the Facebook app to access your photos before you can use this feature. Click "Allow." Select a photo from your Camera Roll or tap the "Camera" icon to take a picture.
Step 4
Tap the "Composer" button once you have chosen a photo. This button looks like a pen on a piece of paper.
Step 5
Write a message if desired. You can also tap the "Location" button to tag the photo with a location or tap the "Tag" button to tag friends in the photo.
Step 6
Tap the "Post" button. The photo is posted in your friend's timeline.

Your three latest pictures are displayed at the top of the screen. If you swipe your finger down on the screen, more photos are revealed and you can scroll through all of your photos.
Step 3
Tap the "Composer" button in the bottom right corner after selecting one or more photos. A new post is opened ready for editing. Type a message or add a location if desired.
Step 4
