How to Upload 1GB Videosby Ashley Donohoe
If you create large video files, you may want to share them with others. However, your email provider may have file attachments restrictions that do not allow you to send files that are a gigabyte or more in size. If you cannot email your video, you can use a free file uploading site to upload your video and receive a link to share it with others.
Visit the Megaupload registration page (see Resources) and enter the information requested to create a free account. Click "Register" to create your account and to log in automatically. Click the "Megaupload" logo on the top of the page to return to the home page and click "Browse." Select the video you want to upload and click "Open."
Type a name or description for your file in the box next to "Send."
Click "Send" to upload your video. Copy and paste the download link to a document or email if you wish to share the file.
Visit the YourFileLink page (see Resources) and click "Choose File" under the site's logo. Select the file you wish to upload and click "Open."
Copy and paste the linking code that appears after the upload finishes to share your file with others.
Visit the Woofiles page (see Resources) and click "Add File" under "My Woofiles." Select the video you wish to upload and click "Open."
Click "Share Your Files" to upload the video.
Click "Direct Link" under "Share Your Files With the World" on the right of the page after the upload finishes. Copy and paste the download link to share your video.
