Uninstalling Boomerang on Gmail (9 Steps)

Boomerang for Gmail is a browser extension that is compatible with Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Safari. It enables you to schedule email, obtain read receipts, set up recurring emails and create reminders for following up with contacts. If you no longer want to use the service, you can uninstall the extension from your browser. You also need to edit your Google account's security settings to revoke Boomerang's access to your data.
Mozilla Firefox
Step 1
Click Firefox's orange menu button and select "Add-Ons." If you have the traditional menu bar, select "Tools" and then "Add-Ons."
Step 2
Click "Extensions" to view a list of installed extensions. Click "Remove" beside Boomerang for Gmail.
Step 3
Click the "Restart Now" link to finish the uninstall and reopen the browser.
Google Chrome
Step 1
Click the menu button to the right of Chrome's address bar and select "Settings."
Step 2
Click the "Extensions" link to view installed extensions.
Step 3
Click the trash can next to Boomerang for Gmail and then select "Remove."
Safari
Step 1
Click the gear icon beside Safari's address bar and then select "Preferences."
Step 2
Click the "Extensions" tab and locate Boomerang for Gmail, which typically is listed as "B4G_Safari."
Step 3
Click the "Uninstall" button beside the extension name and click "Uninstall" to confirm the uninstall.

- To remove Boomerang's access to your Google account, click the "Security" link on your Google account page. Click "Manage Access" in the "Connected Applications and Sites" section. Find the connected service named "b4g.baydin.com -- Gmail" and then click "Revoke Access."
