How to Turn Off Comcast Call Forwarding

by Jacqui Lane

Comcast's Digital Voice home telephone service offers two options for forwarding your calls. Call Forwarding Selective allows you to forward incoming phone calls from specific numbers to a number of your choice. Call Forwarding Variable forwards all incoming calls to another phone number. If you have either option activated, you can easily deactivate it at any time.

Step 1

Lift the receiver of your home telephone.

Step 2

Press "*73" to deactivate Call Forwarding Variable. Press "*83" to turn off Call Forwarding Selective.

Hang up the phone after listening to the confirmation message.
