Transferring a Photo From Facebook to the iPad Photo Album
By Tyson Cliffton
You can save photos from Facebook to your iPad -- for instance, you may wish to save photos that employees posted from events or conferences related to your small business. This lets you collect all related photos in one place. After saving photos, you can group them into one large album or several smaller ones that focus on individual events. You can also email photos to yourself from your iPad if you wish to save them elsewhere. Any photo visible to you on Facebook can be easily saved to your iPad's Photos app.
Tap "Safari" on your iPad, navigate to facebook.com and sign in.
Locate the photo you want to save. You can save any photo visible to you, whether it's your photo or a friend's photo.
Touch the photo to get the context menu, then select "Save Image." The image will be saved to your device's Camera Roll, which can be accessed through the Photos app.
Press the "Home" button to close Safari.
Tap "Photos" and then tap the "Camera Roll" album.
Tap the image you just saved from Facebook, which should appear in the last spot in the album. The image opens.
