How to Transfer Pictures From the Kodak Easy Share to the Computer
By Dave Wilson
Kodak Easy Share cameras are designed so that anyone can easily transfer pictures to and from their computer and to their favorite picture website to share pictures with friends. However, the Kodak Easy Share camera is so easy to use that transferring pictures from an Easy Share camera can be puzzling for those expecting the complex technical configuration necessary with other cameras. Transfer pictures from a Kodak Easy Share camera to a computer in a few steps.
Plug the square end of the USB cable into the Kodak Easy Share camera. Plug the other end into a USB port on a computer that has Kodak Easy Share software installed.
Confirm that the computer is connected to the Internet by opening a Web browser and verifying that it connects to the home page. Power up the Kodak Easy Share camera. The "Kodak Easy Share" program window will appear. If the Kodak Easy Share software does not start, click the "Start" button on the Windows desktop, then click "Computer" and then double-click on the Kodak Easy Share icon.
Wait while the Kodak Easy Share software transfers all pictures from the Kodak Easy Share camera. If the pictures do not automatically transfer, click the "Transfer All" button. Once the transfer is completed, unplug the USB cable from the computer and unplug the other end of the USB cable from the Kodak Easy Share camera.
