How to Synchronize Outlook Notes Between a PC and an iPhone

by Leigh Thompson

The design of the iPhone makes it compatible with many of Microsoft Outlook's features. The iPhone "Notes" application is one of the programs that can sync directly to your computer's Outlook software. Once this sync connection is set up, you can create and delete notes on your iPhone and they are saved in your Outlook software. This sync can be set up using your iTunes connection.

Open iTunes on your personal computer.

Plug your iPhone into your computer using the USB cord.

Select your iPhone in the "Devices" pane. Select "Info" from the top menu.

Check the box to "Sync Notes" under the "Other" header. Press the drop-down box and choose "Outlook" from the options.

Press the "Sync" button. Exit iTunes when you are finished syncing.
