How to Sync Things with iCal
By KR Knowlin
The Things task management application allows you to create simple or detailed to-do lists on your Mac. You can create specific areas of responsibility for your tasks and organize activities by project. You can also sync Things with the Mac OS default calendar program, iCal. This way, the information you enter into Things will automatically sync to your iCal to-do list.
Open Things on your Mac.
Click the "Things" menu at the top of the screen. Select "Preferences." The Preferences dialog window opens.
Click the "iCal" tab.
Click the drop-down arrow of the "Sync" field. Choose a sync option from the list that appears.
Click the drop-down arrow of the "Calendar" field. Choose a calendar from the options that appear.
Click the "Apply" button to save your changes.
