How to Stop Automatic Sign-in on Yahoo! Mail

Yahoo! mail is a free Internet-based email service that offers the ability to send and receive emails from any device that offers Internet capability. In addition, it offers folders and integration with Yahoo! Instant Messenger. If you are using a public computer or shared device, you may want to enter your sign in information manually to help keep your account secure. If you want to stop automatic sign-in on Yahoo! mail, you can do so in a few clicks.

Step 1

Double-click on your Internet browser icon to launch the web browser.

Step 2

Navigate to to sign in.

Remove the check in the box next to "Keep Me Signed In." You have now stopped automatic sign-in on Yahoo! mail.
