Your Sanyo TV can be set up with a variety of different remote controls which allows you to turn off your TV or adjust its volume, among other features. Successfully setting up your Sanyo TV with a remote merely requires determining the type of remote you have and following the setup process for each kind.

Set Up Sanyo TV With a Universal Remote

To set your Sanyo TV up with a universal remote, press the “Setup” button on your remote until the light displays. Press the “TV” button on your universal remote and enter “0049”. Press the “TV” button again and then press the “Volume Down” button on your remote. If the volume does not change, repeat the process with these alternate codes: “0097”, “0110”, “0004”, “0268”, “0012”, “0108" or "0180."

If the TV volume increases, then the Sanyo TV is successfully set up with your Comcast or Xfinity remote. If not, go through the process again and try these alternate codes until one works: “11142”, “10799”, “11362”, “11785”, “10036”, “10735”, “12049”, “12264”, or “11480”.
