How to Set Up Outlook to Send Email on Roadrunner

Good news for Outlook users; you can set up your Road Runner email in Outlook and check all your accounts from one place. Outlook supports multiple email accounts in one interface, so you can add your Road Runner account and have all your email in one place. Configure Road Runner in any version of Outlook.

Launch Outlook and go to "Tools" or "File," depending on which version you have.

Open "Account Settings" then click the email tab and select "New." The "New E-mail Account" dialog box will open.

Click the box that starts "Manually configure server settings ... " in 2007 or 2010 and click "Next." Previous Outlook versions only offer manual configuration.

Go to User Information and type your name as you want it to appear in your outgoing messages. Also enter your full email address.

Select "POP3" under Server Information. Type "" or "" in the Incoming mail server box. Use the server that matches your email address. You have "" or "," so use the matching server.

Type "" or "" in the Outgoing mail server box. Again, use the one that matches your email address.

Enter your full Road Runner email address in the User Name box. Type in your password and check "Remember password" unless you want to enter it every time you check or send email.

Click "Test Account Settings" and wait for Outlook to send a test message to your Road Runner account. It will show up in your Inbox.

Choose "Next" then "Finish" to complete the configuration.
