How to Set Margins for an HP All-in-One Printer
By Bonnie Conrad
Buying an HP all-in-one printer gives you the functionality of a printer, scanner and copier, all in a single machine. This can streamline your computing operations, save you money and preserve desk space as well. When it comes time to print to your HP all-in-one, you need to check the layout of the page and adjust the margins so that the entire document fits properly on the page.
Step 1
Log on to your computer and open the document you want to print. Click the "File" menu and choose "Print Preview."
Step 2
Review the document in the preview window. The preview window shows you the document exactly as it will look on the printed page.
Step 3
Click "Close" to close the print preview window and go back to your document. Click the "File" menu and choose "Page Setup."
Step 4
Go to the "Margins" tab and adjust the margins as you wish. Click the "Print Preview" option again to see if adjusting the margins made the document fit on the page. Go back to the margins tab and adjust the margins again if necessary.
