How to Send a Link to My Phone
By Kenneth Coppens
With advancements in mobile phones, it has become the norm for phones to have Internet access. Having the Web in your hands at all times is convenient for many reasons, whether it be for finding driving directions or for simple entertainment purposes. If there's a certain website you want to keep to your phone for future reference, you can send it directly to the phone from any computer.
Step 1
Open your email on a computer with Internet access. Sign in to the account and compose a new email.
Step 2
Type the link into the message of the email. Send the message to your own email account.
Step 3
Type the link into the message of the email. Send the message to your own email account.
Open your email account on your phone and read the message you sent to yourself. You should be able to open the link directly from the message.
Tips
- If you do not want to email the link to yourself, send the link in a text. An Internet search for "send text message from a computer to a phone" will bring up results for several websites that offer this free service. Simply type in the link into the message box, type in the phone number in the phone number box and follow the on-screen directions on your chosen site to finish the process.
