How to See Your Schedule on Student Portal DCPS
By Nicole Fotheringham
Miami-Dade, Floria is home to more than 300 public schools and is the fourth largest school district in the U.S. The area's District County Public Schools (DCPS) have created a portal for students, parents and teachers that provides useful information on everything, from schedules to grades. In order to access the website, students and parents must have a student ID number and be registered with the site.
Access the Miami Dade Student portal by going to their website at DadeSchools.net. Click on the red "Students" tab at the top of the page.
Log on to access your schedule. To do this, you must have a log in name and password, which can be obtained by registering with the portal. If this is your first time, type your student ID number into the "User Name" field. For your password, use the month you were born (two digits), then the year you were born (four digits) followed by the letters pw. For example, if you were born in February 1995, you would type in 021995pw. After 24 hours, you will be able to change this password utilizing the Password Management/P-Synch system. Log in with the initial password to change it to a new one.
Click on "Schedules" under the "Resources" on the right-hand side of the page, once you are logged in, to access your school schedules.
