Cell phones today are used for everything from checking email to online banking. For some, their cell phone is a lifeline to the outside world. Misplacing a cellphone can cause a lot of stress. If you are trying to find the location of your AT&T cell phone there are a few things you can do. By following these steps you can find your AT&T cell phone sooner rather than later.

Step 1

Call your cellphone. Sometimes a lost phone is actually buried under a couch cushion or a car seat.

Step 2

Use the AT&T FamilyMap to look up the location of your phone. FamilyMap is a paid subscription service provided by AT&T that lets you track the location of your phone.

Step 3

Pull up the GPS location of your phone using AT&T's TeleNav tracking service. The TeleNav tracking service is an optional feature that lets business owners track the location of their company phones. If your phone is not signed up for the TeleNav tracking service you will be unable to locate your phone using this technique.

Step 4

Use AT&T's Mobile Locate to find your phone. AT&T's Mobile Locate provides you with the last five locations of your phone in addition to giving you turn-by-turn directions to each of its locations. The service is available as part of the AT&T Mobile Protection Pack which also includes a new form of phone insurance and enhanced customer support.
