How to Save Email Addresses on the Xerox WorkCentre Pro 35 PSby Jeff Grundy
The Xerox WorkCentre Pro 35 is a multifunction printer (MFP) designed for use by small- to medium-sized workgroups. The MFP prints, scans, copies, faxes and includes a workgroup document-management server. One of the features of the WorkCentre Pro 35 is the "Scan to Email" function. It allows you to simply insert a document into the automatic tray feeder (ATF), then scan and send the document immediately to a recipient. To do this, however, you must first save the address of the recipient in the address book of the MFP.
Insert the document you wish to send to the recipient face up into the ATF.
Press the "To" button on the face of the WorkCentre Pro 35. Use the keypad to enter the full email address of the recipient in the "email@example.com" format. Press the "Enter" button.
Press the button next to the "Save" option on the display screen. Press the button next to the "Public" option if the email address is for a client, supplier or other outside party. Alternatively, press the button next to the "Internal" option if the email address is for someone connected to the local network. Press the "Enter" button.
Type the full name of the recipient, then press the "Enter" button. The Xerox WorkCentre Pro 35 saves the email address to the appropriate address book. Press the "Scan" button to scan the document and automatically forward a digital copy to the recipient.
