Yahoo Mail offers you the ability to save draft messages for review and sending later. This mail option enables you to save as many draft emails as you like — there is no limit. One of the benefits of saving a draft email is that it can also serve as a template for future use. Each time you want to send the same message to a new recipient, you can, while preserving a copy in the “Drafts” folder.

Step 1

Compose, or create, a message that you want to save in draft form from Yahoo Mail.

Step 2

Click “Save Draft.” Yahoo Mail will automatically save your draft and time-stamp it so you know precisely when you last worked on it. For instance, you will see “Saved at” followed by the current time while you’re still on the “Compose” email page. The time will also be on the actual message in the “Drafts” folder. Repeat this action to save multiple drafts; you don’t even have to put anything in the “Subject” line. For organization, you can number various drafts that relate to one topic, for instance, “Draft 1: Demand Studios” and “Draft 2: Demand Studios.”

Step 3

Select a draft message from the “Drafts” folder, and then click “Edit Draft.”

Step 4

Refine the message and add a name to the “To” field. When you’re ready to send it off, hold down the “Shift” key and click the “Send” button simultaneously. What this does is send the message to the recipient, while keeping a copy of it in the “Drafts” folder. You can do this as many times as you like; just keep adding new names to the “To” field.
