Adjusting the settings on your Polaroid TV lets you tailor the TV to exactly what you want with regard to the color, tint, contrast and audio. However, it's possible to get carried away and tweak the TV's settings to such an extent that it looks and sounds terrible and you just want to start from scratch. Resetting the Polaroid TV's factory settings restores the settings to what they were the day you took the TV out of the box, giving you that clean slate to start from. You can reset the TV from within the device's main menu.

Step 1

Press "Menu" on the remote control that came with the Polaroid TV.

Step 2

Press the right-pointing arrow on the remote control to select the "Setup" icon, which looks like a gray TV.

Step 3

Press the down arrow to highlight "Reset Default" and then press "OK." A message appears, warning you that resetting the Polaroid TV to its factory default settings will erase any personal settings you have set up on the device.

Step 4

Press "OK" to initiate the factory reset. The Polaroid TV will restart. Upon successfully restarting, the TV's factory settings will be restored.
