Because the lamps that illuminate Panasonic rear-projection TVs have limited life spans, the lamp timer – which keeps track of the hours the bulb has been in use – is a handy feature that ensures you won’t be caught off guard in the middle of movie night or a big game. However, this feature is worthless if you replace the bulb without resetting the lamp timer. By following a few simple steps to restart the countdown, you won’t have to risk being shut down in the midst of your favorite program.
