How to Repair a Dynamic Link Library (4 Steps)
By TS Jordan
Dynamic link library files are part of the Windows operating system. Repairing DLL files is necessary where they have been altered through user error, hardware problems or malicious programs. Accomplish this by using the System Restore feature of your operating system to restore your computer to a working backup set, recovering the DLL files in your PC to their original form.
Click "Start," type "System Restore" in the "Search" box and press "Enter."
Click "Use a different restore point."
Select a date prior to when you began receiving the DLL error in question.
Press "Next" to restore your operating system, undoing the changes to the DLL file that triggered corruption.
