If you have Gmail, you don’t have to give up your Xfinity by Comcast email account; you can have those messages sent directly to your Gmail account. To automatically transfer the email you receive from your Comcast email address to your Gmail address, you can change your Comcast email settings directly from any Web browser. Moreover, Gmail has a process that enables users to redirect messages from other email providers and Comcast is one of the providers it supports.

Comcast Website

Step 1

Click on “Email” from the Xfinity by Comcast website and then log in (see link in Resources).

Step 2

Click on “Account” from the top menu.

Step 3

Click on “Users and Preferences."

Step 4

Click “On” in the “Email Forwarding” section.

Step 5

Enter your Gmail address in the “Forward all mails to” box. If you want Comcast to save a copy of the emails as well, put a check in the box labeled “Save a copy of forwarded emails.”

Step 6

Click “Save” when done.
