How to Read Email on Kindle (4 Steps)

The Kindle is an electronic e-reader created and sold by Amazon.com. Most people know they can use their Kindles to download and read books and to browse content on some of their favorite Web pages, but many people might not realize they can use their Kindles to read and send email as well.

Step 1

Turn on your Kindle and go to the homepage.

Step 2

Click on "Menu," then click on "Experimental."

Step 3

Press the "Select" wheel once you get to the basic Web browser. Type the address for the mobile version of your email provider into the URL box and press "Submit."

Step 4

Enter your email logon credentials into the appropriate boxes and start reading email.
