How to Put Safari Back on an iPod Touch
By Julius Vandersteen
The iPod Touch device has a touch-screen display, and it connects to the Internet via Wi-Fi, so you can visit websites with the free Safari Web browser, which Apple installs on every iPod Touch. If you removed the Safari app from the iPod Touch's home screen but now want to use it again, you can easily put the app back. You cannot delete the Safari app; you can only disable it with the Restrictions setting.
Press the "Home" button below the display on your iPod Touch.
Tap the "Settings" icon on the home screen.
Tap "Restrictions." A prompt appears. Type in your four-digit restrictions passcode.
Tap the "Safari" option to "On." The Safari Web browser app is now enabled, and the Safari app icon appears on the iPod Touch's home screen.
Press the "Home" button to return to the home screen.
