How to Put a Picture of Your Family on Your Computer Screen

Sometimes you need to add a little familiar touch to your computer screen saver. It's not a big step to add a picture of your latest family trip to your desktop background. This is a nice remembrance and something that will remind you of home every time you look at your desktop.

Step 1

Scan or download the picture you want to add.

Step 2

Place the picture in a folder on your desktop.

Step 3

Click on your "Windows" button, then click on the "Control Panel" icon.

Step 4

Choose your "computer screen" icon inside the Control Panel.

Step 5

Click on the "desktop" icon. Choose the "Browse" button and select your family photo from the files listed. This will become your desktop picture.
