How to Put 200 Songs on One CD
By Stephen Lilley
When you burn an audio CD, you can only fit 70 to 80 minutes' worth of music on a single disc, depending on what type of disc you use. This rarely equates to more than a dozen songs, and oftentimes it's less. If you want to fit 200 songs on a compact disc, you'll have to burn an MP3 CD. This lets you fit up to 700 MB worth of songs on a single disc, regardless of how long their total play time adds up to be.
Step 1
Click "Start," "All Programs" and open Windows Media Player.
Step 2
Click "Burn."
Step 3
Select "Data CD or DVD." Drag all 200 of your songs into the window on screen.
Step 4
Put your blank CD-R or CD-RW into your burner.
Click "Start Burn" to burn your 200 songs to your CD.
