Programs That Delete Browsing History
By Karen Curley
There are several reasons to use software to clear the browsing history from a computer. First of all, clearing the browsing history protects the user's privacy by erasing all traces of Internet activity, including searches, websites visited, downloaded documents and any programs opened. Leaving the browser history on the computer allows anyone with access to the computer to see every site the computer owner visited. Clearing the browser history also restores space to the hard drive, thus improving the computer's speed and reliability. There are several programs available online that will delete your browsing history.
Delete History Free
This free software deletes browser history, search history, address bar sites, download history, temporary Internet files, cookies and saved passwords. Delete History Free uses one click to erase all Internet tracks.
