How to Program the Panasonic TV Remote
By J. Anthony Cooley
Programing a Panasonic TV remote will make your TV viewing experience more enjoyable. It's a simple process that can be completed in a couple of minutes. It's common for some of the program codes for Panasonic remotes not to work for all functions, so remain patient while imputing the codes until you find one that fully works.
Step 1
Hold down both the "Action" and "Power" buttons on the remote at the same time for at least five seconds. If you have a lighted remote, all the component buttons begin blinking when you have held the "Action" and "Power" button long enough.
Step 2
Push the button of the component you want to program to the remote control. For example if you are programing the remote to a television set, press the "TV" button, and if you are programing the remote to a DVD player, press the "DVD" button, and so on.
Step 3
Continue to the link in the Resources section to find the correct three-digit code for the component you are programing to the remote. Use the number buttons on the remote to type the three-digit code into the remote. Point the remote at the component you are programing the remote to and press the "Power" button to see if the component turns on. If the component does not turn on, use another code on the list.
