Printers That Work With Acer Computers

Selecting the right printer to coordinate with your new Acer computer does not need to be a difficult task. Printers are made to universal standards, and with the appropriate drivers you can install them on nearly any computer, regardless of manufacturer. You must install the version of the printer's drivers and software compatible with the operating system running on your Acer computer. You also must make sure to have the appropriate port available on your computer, such as an available parallel port or USB port, depending on the connection method required.

Not a popular choice with home users, a dot matrix printer meets a specific need only and typically is not used for everyday printing.
