How to Print on a Printable CD With the Epson Artisan 810

by Joshua Laud

If you want to print directly to a printable CD-R then you will need to use a printer such as the Epson Artisan 810. The Epson Artisan 810 is an all-in-one printer capable of faxing, scanning and wireless printing (including directly from cameras and mobile phones). The Epson Artisan 810 will print directly to CD or DVD, which requires use of the Epson Print CD software. This will have been installed when you installed the printer drivers and software.

Click "Start," then "All Programs," then "Epson," then "Epson Print CD."

Click "Background." Click "File," then "Browse." Locate the image you want to print and double-click it to insert.

Make any adjustments you want to make. Click "Text" if you want to add text.

Push the output tray in the printer in. Raise the control panel up. Press "CD Tray." The tray will eject. Place your CD in the slot. Push it back into the printer. Press the "CD Tray" button to position it.

Click "File." Click "Print." Click "Print" in the dialog window. This will then print to your CD.
