How to Play SIRIUS Satellite Radio on an iPod
By Heather Harris
One of the ways you can take advantage of your SiriusXM subscription is by using the SiriusXM iOS application on your iPod Touch. Provided that your SiriusXM account is active and current, you can log-in to the app on your iPod to play, pause, fast forward and restart streaming music. You can also use the On Demand feature, which gives you access to themed shows that have a limited access window to be listened to offline.
Step 1
Connect your iPod to a wireless Internet network, if you have not already done so. To do this, tap the "Settings" icon on your iPod's home screen, then tap "Wi-Fi." Tap the network to which you want to connect and enter the security key if prompted.
Step 2
Return to the home screen and tap the "App Store" icon.
Step 3
Tap the "Search" icon and enter "SiriusXM" in the search field.
Step 4
Select the SiriusXM Internet Radio app from the list of results. Be sure to choose the one listing "Sirius XM Radio Inc" as its author.
Step 5
Tap the "Free" button, which changes to the "Install App" button. Tap "Install App" and enter your Apple ID and password if prompted.
Step 6
Tap the "OK" button when prompted to confirm that you are at least 17 years of age.
Step 7
Tap the "SiriusXM" app, then tap the "Continue" button, after reading the "DATA USAGE WARNING" message.
Step 8
Enter your SiriusXM username and password and tap the "Log In & Listen Now" button.
