How to Play RO Files
By Vivek Saxena
R0 files are those that have been compressed by WinRAR into a multi-volume set composed of the head file, R0, and any subsequent files: R1, R2, R3 and so on. The integrated compression tool WinZIP, which comes with Windows-based operating systems, cannot un-compress R0 files, so to access their contents, you will first need to download and install WinRAR.
Launch a browser and direct it to the "WinRAR Archiver Download" on RarLab's website.
Click the table entry labeled "English (32 bit) and, when the download dialog box appears, click "Save File."
Access "My Computer" from your desktop and navigate to the "Downloads" directory within the "My Documents" folder.
Double-click "wrar41b5.exe" and follow the directions to install it. Once complete, reboot your computer.
Play R0 Files
Launch "My Computer" and navigate to the directory with the R0 files.
Locate the file with the extension ".R0" and double-click it.
Click the "Extract To" icon, and then use the navigation tree to point to the directory where you would like the files contents to appear.
Click "OK." The compressed files within the R0 files will now be available for you to access and play.
